The Rockford Marlins Practice at Rockford College,
we have an open enrollment for registration, so drop by and sign up any day.

Reminder: White and Blue group swimmers need to bring shorts and tennis
shoes for strength training on Mondays.
FAST Dual meet at Rockford College on Friday, May 29th. Sign up sheets are
located by the bleacher entry on the long table. The meet should be in the
area of two and 1/2 hours. Volunteers will be needed and a list of jobs
can be found next to the athlete sign up sheets.
5/15/09 The Rockford Marlins have blocked off 15 Double/Double rooms have been
reserved at the
Holiday Inn in
Coralville, Iowa,
for our June 6-7 meet in Iowa City. All rooms are non-smoking. The rate
is $94/night. Parking is free and there is a restaurant on site. There is NO
included breakfast. Rooms can be reserved starting Sun. 5/17 or Mon 5/18.
Guests can call the hotel directly at
319-351-5049 to make reservations for the group- just have them ask for
“Rockford Marlins”. Here also is a link to a booking site,

The hotel address is
1220 First Ave., Coralville, IA 52241 and is right off
Interstate 80. There are several restaurants and a mall with a mile or 2
of
the hotel. The pool is about 10-15 min. away.
Marlins families have until
5/29 to reserve. Any rooms not reserved by 5/29 will revert back to the hotel.
Please do not park or wait in the handicapped parking spaces in the Rockford
College parking lot while waiting to pick up your swimmers. The college has
asked us not to park in those spaces unless you have a handicapped sticker for
your vehicle.
